One aspect of the personal training that Scott can work with you on is resistance training. This type of training is also known as strength training and weight lifting, works by doing repetitive exercises with weights, weight machines and resistance bands, which, in turn, helps to increase your muscle strength and the level of endurance your body can handle while. Although it is likely to only form part of your overall fitness programme, resistance training is a fundamental aspect of most raining programmes.

The National Strength and Conditioning Association defines the term resistance training as “any method or form used to overcome, resist or bear force” When planning resistance training, Scott will choose the best method to suit each individual, using anything from partner exercise, dumbells, barbells, bands or tubing exercises.

No special requirements

Scott will provide any and all necessary equipment required during your personal training sessions, so you don't have to worry about investing in equipment.
